Love this coat but the XL is too tight for me and must return it.
I bought an XL but the coat didn't leave me any room to layer if I needed too. I think its a really gorgeous but its just not for me.
I did order a bigger size because some xls are tight. There is room to layer a couple of shirts and still be comfortable, very soft.
I love this coat! I've been looking for a new leather winter coat for several years and could not find any that I even remotely liked. This coat is beautiful, soft, lamb leather. It's very warm with the liner and hood attached, but when I want a somewhat lighter weight coat, I can remove the liner and hood and still wear it comfortably. I would suggest that you go up about two sizes, since leather does not stretch at all and with the liner you'll need the room to be able to sit down without tearing up the zipper. I originally ordered an XL, but it fit 'too well' and so I returned it and ordered the 2XL. Fits great and gives me a little more room to be comfortable. An extremely good purchase at a fantastic price.
Nice looking coat. Unfortunately I ordered a Large based on a review of a lady who listed her weight and height as being very close to my own. I found the jacket far to snug for my comfort without wearing anything more than a T-shirt under it. I am definitely returning and ordering and XL. Otherwise, the coat looks to be of very nice quality.
I am 5'4" and 145 lbs,, over 60 yrs and have been watching five years for a soft leather jacket. I bought the Stine leather jacket from Eddie Bauer and loved the fit and look of it but sadly had to return it because it was too heavy to pick up. Pros: very soft leather, quilted lining makes it yummy warm, pockets are normal size, there is an addt'l inside breast pocket, don't even have to have the sleeves shortened. Cons: none. I wear a 14-16 so I ordered an XL, fits perfectly.
I ordered size 2XL. (I wear Size XL in regular tops). My chest is 44. 2XL was the perfect size. The sleeves are too long, I rolled them in. The leather is very soft. Great fit. Quilted lining. Nice pockets. Nice zipper. I would recommend to a friend.
The leather is soooo soft and the jacket is so warm. The detailing is exquisite. I am 5 foot 9 & a half and I wear a size 14. I thought I ordered the size XL but instead I got a two XL. I thought uh oh at first, but then I tried it on and it fits beautifully, you want it to be a bit loose: the sleeves are plenty long and warm especially with the knitted wrist and thumb hole. For $$$ this jacket is a steal buy it if you can!
For an XL it is very narrow across the chest and back otherwise is very warm.
