This is a reasonably priced, beautiful orange bedskirt. I was happy to find such a nice bright color which matched my tropical bedding perfectly. I put it on without ironing or putting in the dryer, so I am hoping the shipping wrinkles will drop out. Overall, I am pleased.

Disappointed After following washing/drying directions noticed the wrinkles did not come out. The material is very thin and poor quality. We noticed 2 small defects (small holes not entirely through all layers) and doesn't stay put in place making it very difficult when placing a heavy queen mattress on top. Very disappointed.

Too thin I'm glad I was asked to write a review for this bedskirt. I will definitely return it. It is so thin you can easily see through it. I purchased the white bedskirt. Maybe the colored fabric is thicker. I'm very disappointed. I will probably buy the new at a store, so I can see what I'm buying.

Its not the same color as the actual skirt part. its a white, gauze-like material. I haven't used my yet as its on a spare bedroom set, but I don't a mattress would easily slide across it. Hope this helps!

It's not the same micro fabric as skirt. It's VERY papery thin white fabric that if pulled too hard when sliding it under the mattress will tear. The entire skirt is flimsy with no durability. It LOOKS nice on but it's chinttzy. My father told me you always get what you paid for.

I wish it were...It is not and I made the mistake of washing the skirt and then even worse...I dried it....low heat....and the dang thing melted in a messy clump...I think it was made of some sort of paper fiber...similar to those fabric softener sheets we throw in the dryer....I had to make a new base for it....from an old sheet...which was a PAIN... The color of the skirt changed drastically after one wash....which did not run ...fortunately....and became a sky blue instead of the turquoise I purchased. It still works for me....but I would NOT advise buying it if you need it for the long run.

it's not the same fabric, but more a simple poly-cotton blend. I needed the help of my husband to place the mattress on top -- there's no "sliding" anything across the material. Love the idea suggested by another customer of trimming it down so it can be tucked under the mattress rather than tackling with the eight of the mattress

It's microfiber. I just looked at the tag, and it says 100% polyester. I purchased this particular bed skirt because I have four animals, and microfiber tends to not hold fur as much as some other fabrics. It has done well as far as the pet hair build up, looks nice and has worn well.

I have it in queen size(navy). It is split but the fabric overlaps so the split is on the side of the pleat.I read some reviews...it is thin fabric but has a nice sheen and I did NOT iron it...it went on and any creases smoothed out.Maybe the dark color helps.. Remember the focus is on the terrific navy and beige sea shell comforter set above the dust ruffle. Most of the dust ruffle is covered by the comforter. It just completes the look.

The bed skirt fits over your box spring and you top mattress keeps it in place. I have had mine for about 6 months and it does not even move once you set it into place.

The only thing that holds it is the mattress on top. If you go to a Current catalog they have bed skirt pins you can get.

Other than the weight of the mattress on top of it, there are bedskirt pins that can be purchased to insure that the bedskirt will not move. They look like an elongated oval shapemon top and then two 1 1/4 pertrude from the other side. The long pins get pushed into the box spring and assure you on no movement.

you don't need anything to hold in place. there is an attached ( sewn on cheap fabric stuff) white fabric sewn to the three sides of the skirt which your mattress sits on and completely covers to hold skirt in place. This style is OK as long as you can move the mattress to place this on and put it back on.

The bedskirt has a non-woven fabric top that acts like a flat sheet over the boxspring, and this holds the skirt portion in place. If it tends to slide on your boxspring, you can use upholstery pins to anchor the corners.
