I his bedskirt has full ruffles and a lining underneath that completely hide whatever is under the bed. It is a pure white cotton. The picture looks a little like there is a ribbon hem. There is not.
I needed a plain, white bedskirt for my son's bedroom. This was the perfect item at the perfect price - since we tend to change decor every two years. Would recommend purchasing this item.
*** was out of this style bedskirt in full. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The fit is perfect for a full standard bed. The platform of the bedskirt is even made of sheeting cotton just as is the skirt. The grosgrain ribbon is thick and the skirt itself is very well made. Double pleats on both sides of the skirt and one pleat at the foot of the bed. The corners have added material so that the skirt goes completely around the bottom of the bed and overlaps. The only thing I did was to get a cheaper white full bedskirt and put it underneath this one. It is a little sheer for my taste. I preferred the extra backing to make the white and black stand out and seem more substantial. Otherwise, this is a great deal compared to *** .
This is a replacement bedskirt and it is an upgrade over the eyelet bedskirt I previously had. I use pins to keep it in place (because I flip my mattress every week). Have had it over a year and it is working perfectly.
