Memory foan gel topper This topper is going on a bed in our travel trailer. We use the trailer in the summer at the Oshcosh air show. The weather can be very hot. Very Comfy This item is very similar to one sold at Costco for twice the price. I slept on it last night for the first time and really liked it! Made a big difference in my plain old mattress that now hurts my back. Don't be fooled though, it does have a strong odor to it when you first take it out of the bag. It even states on the instruction sheet that it does have a strong smell and recommends letting it air out for 24-48 hours. I stretched it out along my bed, put the ceiling fan on and opened the windows. After about 6-7 hours I really couldn't smell it anymore and used it that night. No gel beads mess like the ones at Costco. Simply, easy, well worth the price. Note: It is FLAMMABLE. Because it's polyurethane, it will ignite easily, states that on the packaging as well. Important for some people, especially if this is for a child's bed or people who smoke.

Super Kooshy Rest It does not feature a cover, which initially made me uneasy. After a night's sleep, I was totally easy. This has proven to be my favorite memory-foam topper yet. The gel has some property that makes it much cooler than regular memory-foam, and I am pleased beyond belief. Get this topper lest you dash your foot against a stone because it is top notch. I don't know why you couldn't as long as you are not putting it directly on the topper. I have used my electric blanket on my bed for years, but there is a mattress cover and a set of sheets between the topper and the blanket.

I bought this one but I also bought the CozyClouds by DownLinens Billowy Clouds Mattress Pad to layer on top of that. And I do use a heated mattress pad on top of that. So the heated pad isn't right next to the mattress topper. So my topper never gets hot. I was worried about the same thing. So I just added another layer in between to be on the safe side.

I don't believe this foam is any more flammable than ordinary mattress materials. It won't melt if that is your concern. Honestly, I find this topper holds my body heat enough that I can't imagine using an electric blanket as well. I know this gel foam is supposed to do a better job of dissipating heat than normal memory foam, but my experience is that it retains heat. So try it. I think you'll find you're warm enough with a normal blanket.

I'm assuming you would have a mattress pad and sheets over the mattress topper. If your electric blanket is on a warm and not a hot setting, I can't see a problem other than being way too hot!

It's called egg crate foam. I was hospitalized in 1993 with leukemia and that's what they put on my bed and it is so worth it. I do believe you can buy them at ****, but be prepared to Pay a pretty price. Sometimes they come out with a 20% off coupon. We've owned this 3-4 months and find that the foam "peaks" return to the normal shape after you turn over or get out of bed. It does develop a little ridge between us, but we just move to the middle of the bed and it returns back to being level again. It really is very comfortable over a hard mattress, love the height of the "peaks", as they support you and feel like you are sleeping on a comfy cloud.

It is true to size so it would. But I strongly recommend to use it without pad, only with fitted sheet for the better feeling of the shape, the whole purpose of it is to feel it on the skin, and the pad will make it feel like any other memory foam. Plus, it is easy to clean. My little son had an accident on it, I washed it on the spot and let it dry for a day, no smells, no stains. Love it, my whole family and friends bought them too after me!;)

I guess it depends on the size of your sofa bed. I would NOT leave it on the sofa bed when you close up the sofa. I bought a twin size which measures: 38" wide x 74" long and it fits the twin size bed perfectly. The full size measures: 53" wide x 74" long and queen size measures: 59" wide x 79" long. You should measure your actual mattress on your sofa bed and buy the appropriate size. It is very comfortable at 3" thick. I highly recommend this mattress topper.

I'm using it on my leather sofa bed. It fits just fine but is hard to fold sofa with spring mattress and topper, on other hand it actually helps for sofa's cushions to stay in place better. I also think to cut it a bit since it is few inches longer than the sofa bed mattress size, might also be to fold easier that way.

Simple answer is yes. Any of these mattress topper will. To mitigate that some, I put several layers of cotton between me and the topper. I use deep-pocket sheets, of course. As far as comfort, I had to experiment with thickness. Four inches didn't allow my mattress to provide support, one inch was like there was nothing, two inches not much better but so I settled on three inches. How thick you need is a personal thing.

I get hot when I sleep and this was a concern of mine, so I'm happy to report that it doesn't make the bed any hotter than my regular pillow-top mattress. Like someone else said, it doesn't make it cooler, but it definitely doesn't make it feel warmer. I'm currently 7 months pregnant and I'm still not too hot at night.

My brother and his wife who stayed for a week with us and used the guess bedroom which the Beautyrest Memory Foam was place said it was the most comfortable bed they have ever sleep on but did not say whether it feels hot or normal. I can't comment on the size. However - it is not a YELLOW topper, it's blue with ridges just as pictured. It might be 3inches at the highest heights of the peaks. While it may not look like much, after putting bedding on top and laying down - ITS A GAME CHANGER. Hope that helps!
