This is an amazing set for a fantastic price. The top is almost percale: an intriguing texture that is great at repelling pet fur. The bottom (body touching) side is a smooth cotton, not high tread count, so it's a sheet, not satin. Then two shams and accent pillows WITH INSERTS...wasn't expecting that. Quite happy with this perchase.
