    If you are mounting inside the window casing please subtract 1/2 inch to 1 inch from the measurement to insure the blinds will fit properly

  "Two questions: 1) My wall from left to right measures 41 inches, but the blinds are 39 inches. Does the width of this item measure from the wall mount, or is it the width of the blinds themselves? 2) My window goes from the ceiling to the floor, there's no sill, and it's 80 inches. So, is it possible to get these blinds from 41(39) x 80? Thank you!"

    Hello emilyshearon, the blinds will all block the same amount of light. However, having darker blinds in a room will give the room the appearance of being darker. Thanks for shopping with us!
