This lovely gold leaf lacquer cabinet boasts two doors and brass hardware overlaid with striking 24-carat gold leaf, featuring a delicately hand-painted birds and flowers design.

This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

perfect This cabinet arrived without a scratch and is lovely. (The other piece of furniture that was a part of the same delivery was damaged in three places and a piece of the fiberboard cannot even be glued back on--two different experiences. ONe perfect and the other very compromised)

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!! I received this item in the mail today. Got it in 2 days. It's beautiful. Even more detailed than the picture shows! All sides have gold leaf and decoration except back which is just black. It even comes with a piece of glass to protect the top. I love Great Offer Stock. Have never received an item that wasn't exactly what I hoped for or better.

Only ok I got my cabinet last night.. The painting is different than and the brass hardware isn't as formal as the one online .I didn't get a glass piece for the top. I think it not bad, but not worth the money really.

Don't go by this pic The picture does vary as the one I got had a peacock on it. I expected same or similar picture but, maybe different color or arrangement. The gold was on the sides and top. It is also very deep. the picture makes it seem less so. One hinge stuck and the doors were off a bit. Over all I returned it.

A reminder from my days in China Simply a beautiful piece, especially with some plants atop it. The piece I recieved differs slightly from the photo - but so what? It is unique and while small, quite functional. From the moment my daughter placed it in the kitchen, it has been the focal point of the room. The glass top is important so be sure to get it. There are no leveling feet so I had to use felt to balance out my rough tile floors - that is why I gave it a four star for workmanship - although I am glad it doesn't have levelers. I lived in China for years and it reminds me of 'home'. Buy it and enjoy it. We do.

good addition to my home The cabinet came preassembled and packaged well. No scratches or dents etc. The glow of the gold makes the cabinet an accent or focal piece for ANY room. Quality of the painting makes it look like it came from times when real pride in workmanship prevailed. I am more than satisfied.
