I purchased these scooters for my 3 year old and 9 year old. The first time my 9 year old took it out for a ride, he fell and it broke right in half. I just figured plastic was too weak for a 9 year old and purchased him a metal scooter to replace it. My 3 year old's scooter lasted another wk and then the back wheel fell off and can not be put back on. I am still trying to figure out if I can get the back wheel replaced.
Read MoreWe previously purchased another well-known brand scooter that was almost identical to this in a big box store Christmas 2015 for around *** and she loved it....right up until the UPS guy drove his truck over it while backing up into our driveway to turn around after delivering to the neighbors. Ugh. I searched to find her a new one just like it only to find that brand was going for almost *** or even more! Nope. Not for a scooter for a 4-year-old. So, I found this one, which looked very similar and was actually pink and black -- her signature colors. LOL. It's literally identical in so many ways, but has better design elements than the big brand one. She got it as a Christmas present for 2016 and literally had her helmet on and riding it before playing with anything else! Great and well-made product, no doubt!
