Through the years, I have attempted to train Summer as a house cat; however, he has resisted all of my efforts. I've had him neutered, front claws removed and he's been allowed to move through the house. In the past, I would leave the window sills open so that he could get the early, middle-of-the-day and evening sun. Summer continued to spray his scent in different areas upstairs, so I confined him to the basement area. He started to spray on my upholstered barstools and other cushions, so I confined him to the laundry area.
Recently, I was going to get some work done in the basement and saw the pet cage on sale. I purchased the mid-sized cage. It arrived after the initial work was started, but I was able to put it together in time for the major
work in the basement area. Summer's mid-sized cage has resolved my issues. He won't go to "potty" while in his cage and eats his dry food and drinks his water while inside. The cage even has a divider in the event a person may have two small to mid-sized animals to contain.
This is one of the best purchases that I've ever made!
