I looked for weeks to get this cage on sale at the best price without paying an arm and leg for shipping. It finally came in stock here on so I bought two. Perhaps too hasty, as it just came down $*** on *** and they have free shipping with prime. :/ Regardless, onto the review - which you can read tons of them, with many pictures, on the aforementioned site, which was very helpful to me when shopping for this product! The ample room makes it ideal for tons of toys, perches, and extra space for spreading their wings so they can fly from one side to the other or clamber around.
1) Constructing it was very easy, though it did have some boo-boos. A few holes were countersunk so when we drilled in, they were stripped. Hand-cranking would have been impossible. This was on two separate cages, 1 hole each. There was also a few spots where the powdercoat wasn't completely well done, so I will have to request replacement parts for those from prevue. It's made in China...parts get missed in mass production.
2)The pretties: It's huge. I love that. It's also on wheels. Two front doors, 3 side doors on each side (spring loaded). I zip tied the sides shut for safety after assembly and once the toys were in. The shelf has just enough storage underneath it for newspaper, but not for my big food bins, which it probably couldn't hold weight wise anyway. It's also not solid black, it's more of a dark pewter gray.
3)"Accessories" included are 3 dowel rods and a couple of feeder cups. I tossed them in the trash because in the wild birds don't sit on uniform, single width branches. They sit one ones with bumps and forms and variations and such. Spend a few bucks and buy your birds a couple of rope perches, natural wood perches, a sandy perch for trimming it's nails and beak...plus, save yourself trips to the vet for arthritis later.
Overall I am happy with my purchase. This is a cage suitable for a green cheek conure sized bird or smaller, but not any bird that is destructive of it's cage as the bars are somewhat flimsy. The instructions are kind of iffy, so I simply assembled the bottom in the manner I thought was correct and did it in a way where I could do it with one person.
