Lovely rug! Purchased for a nursery. Colors are a little more on the earth tones side than vivid as depicted but still love it. The bonus was that some of the colors are woven in a chenille which gives a textural contrast...really cool. The main portion of the rug is a little rough but hopefully will soften over time and vacuuming.

Rug quality Dear Seller, First and foremost I must say I love the look of the carpet, fits well in my baby's nursery. I read some of the reviews from other buyers and I do not mind the diamond unevenness, Its a cute design for a unique personality. I must also add it did not smell bad, It smelled like a new product usually smells wraped in plastic. However as it gets cloder to my baby's due date I began to build my nursery 2 weeks ago and everyday I notice more and more of the carpet fibers all over my wood floor in the nursey and in the hallway. Almost looks like cat hair, I dont have pets. I am very concerned the carpet fibers will cause my baby to have allergy's or breathing problems. I would love to know if I can return this item if there is no solution as to how to get rid of the fibers. I am happy to re-order another carpet you might sell given it does not have loose fibers. Please advice as I my due date is nearing next week, I would like to have everything ready. Than you! Jo

Looks great I really like the looks of this rug. The pile is very nice as well. I only gave three stars because it gives off a weird odor. I sprayed freshener on it several times to mask it. It is going away sloooooowly.. I would have returned it, but it looks nice and the odor thing is going away.

I did return it. Great Offer Stock was great about it. The cost of the return was going to be under $* which was great news. Then, because I'd ordered a different rug to replace it (one of a kind, hand knotted - really beautiful and really good price), they waived the return fee completely because it was considered an exchange. If you call customer service, they will quote you the price and send you a shipping label.

It's a mistake to return it. Save it as the perfect extravagant gift to somebody you love and/or owe! This rug is simply artful.

I haven't, but mine arrived with a big flaw- one of the diamonds in the center of the rug is not complete, there is half a diamond shown, that's it. Very noticeable, but I decided to keep it because of the hassle I thought it would be to return.

"What is the cleaning/care guidelines for this rug?"

If you have kids, I'd scotch guard. Otherwise, Folex, or some other carpet cleaner would work for spots. If it needs all over cleaning, it can be steam cleaned. You can rent a machine or call Stanley Steamer. 😉

I have used spot cleaners and a carpet cleaner vaccum. Both have worked fine. No fading or color bleeding. Rug comes clean easily and holds up well to traffic. I have it in the master bedroom for a few months. And so far no problems.
