I'm so glad I purchased this desk. It arrived within 6 days and it looks more expensive than it is. Putting it together was a bit confusing at times, but nothing that some careful reading couldn't solve. The instructions say 2 people are needed to build it, but I was able to build it by myself in a couple of hours. The only thing I can think of that could be bothersome is the drawer sliders have this smelly, sticky lubricant on them. But if you wipe them off before putting the desk together, it's not a problem. The smell also goes away after a while. The desk top is a good size and the drawers are large enough to fit legal sized sized paper. The drawers open about 2/3 of the way. Over all, a great addition to my apartment. Most mid-century furniture is way more expensive, so for the price, it's a great buy! I recommend this desk.

Beautiful! It really is much better than I imagined. It looks like an expensive piece of funiture. Unfortunately the drawers do not open all the way. They only open about 2/3 of the way. Considering they're small drawers, it makes it hard to access the back. Also, the drawers are very difficult to push in all the way and to open back up. I keep them slightly open or else I would have to force them open and closed. But aesthetically, very beautiful! I would buy again

Get what you pay for Awesome style but low quality look in person when in same room with other higher quality furniture. We assembled with more or less ease but the pieces did t fit perfect, they were off by about 1/4 inch which made it unsturdy and Appear lower quality. I would not recommend. I the flip side, iversticj has great customer service and I was able to return for refund.

Will make you despise mid-century... First of all, this desk is a nightmare to assemble. When it arrived as a big flat package, I knew I was in trouble. The instructions were fairly clear but if you're not mechanically or assembly-wise inclined, I would not recommend getting this piece. I just "finished" assembling it (took me 4 days working off & on to diffuse frustration) and when I went to put in the final drawer, it went in crooked and now I can't get it back out. It's VERY crooked and stuck. Ugh ugh ugh As for the product itself, it is average. Back exterior drawer panel Is cardboard or some kind of fiber board covered with a wood grain laminate. Its corner arrived chipped so I will have to contact Great Offer Stock or the manufacturer to get a replacement. Maybe it is just the frustration over the drawer but I'm not really liking this desk. Yes, the desk surface is heavy but the whole thing seems precarious and not sturdy. I'm pretty bummed because I bought it based on its positive reviews. Plus I thought the entire thing was wood but it's not.
