Works with Slate color kitchen appliances. Nice! Love this hood, looks great behind our newly tiled backslash which goes up to ceiling behind the hood. We recently renovated the entire kitchen. Purchased all new appliance in the "Slate" color. The price of a Slate color hood was double the cost of the stainless steel Zline Hood. We found 1 Slate that was within our budget but it did not have the arched glass at the bottom and was straight. The straight look was Not a good look for us. Since our tile back splash had some silver tiles mixed in it and and our hardware was satin nickle we decided to go with the Zline Stainless Hood. It looks amazing and actually compliments the other hardware. It blends well with the slate appliances and i am very satisfied. I was concerned about the decibels and if it would be too loud when on, but that is not an issue at all. Overall very pleased with this purchase.
