I knew I would love this. It matches my decor beautifully. So pretty all lit up, it really sets the tone for the whole room. It was installed in less than 30min. Installer had some trouble making it looked balanced and straight...he slightly adjusted the chains tightness at the top and that was all it needed. I was worried the plate wouldn't completely cover the space from the previous fixture (a standard fixture that was installed when the home was built)...but it was fine! Looks great once it's install. But as I was putting together there were a few small issues like a drill hole not quite center. Bulb socket slightly tilted. Nothing substantial that would make me return it. Not off enough for the casual or semi casual person to notice. But for someone paying close attention it can be spotted. It too bad the manufacturer does not have better quality control. It's a beautiful piece that catches your eye when you walk into the room.

Beautiful design, sloppy execution The subject line says it all. This is a beautiful design, and the photos capture it nicely: Industrial/rustic, but not so large or heavy that it takes over your space. It even came with an extra glass enclosure (presumably, a courtesy in case one of the others breaks). But the workmanship leaves something to be desired: Several of the lights are mounted slightly askew, and there are some gaps and rough spots in the welding. The attached photo captures it faithfully: The lights are at slightly different angles; this isn't a lens distortion. Overall, this fixture makes a fine impression on visitors -- indeed, it often gets compliments -- but now that I've noticed the flaws, they grate on me a bit. A little extra care in the manufacturing, and it would be perfect!

Excellent excellent chandelier. Read the reviews / Q&A here and purchased, thinking I'd at least be satisfied. It really is a very well-made chandelier. I was looking at some similar linear chandeliers that were 2-3 x the price and honestly I doubt their construction would be better. The shades are thick seeded glass. The wood (probably rubber wood) looks good enough. Slight gripe is the white candelabra bases - they should be black, dark brown, even beige. Maybe I can swap them out, but I'm the only person who will even give this a second thought.

worth the risk Very cool looking fixture. Far from perfect. One of the metal things is slightly crooked, and one of the globes was broken. There are some places on the wood where the finish is worn off but I'll color it in with a Sharpie. Honestly most light fixtures online are made in China and the current popularity of "rustic" fixtures means that crappy craftsmanship can pass as acceptable. It's still really cool, if overpriced for what it really is. Certainly way less than a high quality fixture of the same style. Thankfully they include one extra globe as when I called to get a replacement I was told they were not able to order any replacement parts.

I just installed one of these. The dimension from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture can range from 20.5 inches to 62.5 inches in 6 inch increments using what is included in the box. I have (4) 12 inch and (2) 6 inch rods available but do not know if there is sufficient length of wire as shipped to allow use of more rods than were originally supplied. 28 to 30 inches is the recommended

Not unless you were to cut the metal bars that it is hanging from. There are three attachment rings that attach the bars to the ceiling plate, but all three are needed to hang it. I am not aware of any way to shorten it without cutting those metal bars somehow.
