Beautiful!!! Bought this for our two story foyer in our newly built house. It is even better looking in person. Perfect! I could not be happier with my Vineyard Distressed Mahogany & Bronze Chandelier! They turned out exactly as I had envisioned it once they were installed. I purchased two of them since I had a great room to fill and wanted there to be congruence. (Also, I had seen this done by another designer in a similar way and it was nice!) Anyway, shipping was quick and they arrived without blemish. Defective light I hang this light and the power blew out. I tried resetting the fuse but it still did not work. I called an electrician to check out the problem and rehang the light. After his work the light still did not work and he found a defect in the bulb socket. He fixed it but I ended up paying for the light and an electrician due to a defective product $$$$$. Ended up not being a deal!!!!!

According to the dimensions, it is slightly longer than it is wide. It does not look like a perfect sphere, but that is a good thing. It is close to exactly round, but is much more visually appealing that it isn't. It is a beautiful fixture. We hung it in our foyer, which is 2-story and small. It was a good size for the space. The one thing we noticed once it was hung is that it did not provide a lot of down-light. Love the look of it!

It's normal - it's the grounding wire. There will be a screw inside the junction box in your wall around which you wind the copper wire, and then screw it all the way in. Good luck!

Hi! I have this fixture in my home and love it. To answer your question, the copper wire is for your ground wire and should be attached to your ground wiring when installed. If your home's electrical wiring is not grounded, then you won't have a copper wire internally to attach it to and don't need to do anything with the copper wire, just fish it in the ceiling with the other wires. I hope that helps!

There is no standard chain length just 30-34 inches off table, but there is a ton of chain with this light so unless you have 16ft or more ceiling you will have plenty to keep or cut off!

I don't remember exactly, but I would guess that it was between 12 and 18 inches. My electrician and I decided not to use the chain because with a 10-foot ceiling the chandelier would have been too low and not look good over the dining table. As it is, we hung it without the chain and it looks fantastic. It is a beautiful lamp that looks like a work of art.
