Tortilla Maker Stainless Steel

It used to take me at least an hour to Make and cook my vegan gluten free non gmo organic tortillas and half of them would come out looking egg shaped or like the millennium falcon, definitely not round. Plus I had to use a ton of oil. With this product I can make tortillas in literally 15 mins and they come out perfectly round every time! Totally incredible product!! A must have for homemade tortilla households!!

I purchased this press solely for "flour" tortillas cooking. After many failed attempts to cook "flour" tortillas on this press, I gave up and put it back in the box, and on a shelf. This does not work for flour tortillas. The tortilla comes out white looking, rather flat/hard, and simply does not cook them accurately. However, in all fairness, I think this press was made for cooking corn tortillas, and would work very well for that purpose. The unit heats very well, and quite rapidly. It is a sturdy well made small appliance. Overall, it is a good unit for corn tortillas. I would not recommend it if you are purchasing the press to cook homemade flour tortillas.
