We need a large pot for a family "Low Country Boil" and this worked out great!

Unlike some other steamer pots on greatofferstock.com, these items are not seconds. In other words, all of the lids fit very well. I use these pots for primary wine fermentation (without the steamer insert). I use the steamer inserts outside for many, many purposes including: keeping root vegetables in sand for storage, as waste disposal inside my wheel barrow or garden cart, as organizers in my outbuilding, and to help clean vegetables. One more comment: even though I do not use these items for cooking, I believe they would be great vessels to cook in since they have a heft to them meaning (I think) food would not burn readily. Oh, yes, I checked out prices for the same item elsewhere and these prices beat hands down.

Pot is for medium duty use, just right for me. It needs a strong heat source support because the steel is too thin.

This is great, a really big pot and basket. the pot is huge. So far I made Gumbo and Chilli and steamed a few lobsters. I am very happy with it.
