Above average For the price, it's quite nice. It's pure white, not off-white for those of you looking. Also, this bed does fit a mechanical box spring (Sleep Number frames) for those of you looking to make that work. One major flaw: the corners did not line up (holes did not line up with the hardware to make perfect edges). Lucky for me, my husband is handy, and re-drilled them to make them flush. If you don't have a handyman, your bed may not have edges that line up either, so if that bothers you, look for a higher quality bed.
