The bottom board was no longer attached to the dresser. It is a solid press board set. For the cost and with no damage issues it is a worth the $ in my opinion.

Made a move to a new condo and this bedroom set was a great purchase. Two of my friends had it completely assembled along with an additional box spring in less than 2 hours, while I was out running an errand. I was able to sleep in the assembled bed my first night at the new condo. Nice to have great friends.
