Good buy I purchased this table for my balcony and it's the perfect little dining table. Very sturdy construction and looks great for the price! It was very easy to put together. The only thing is that the glass top does not fit perfectly in the opening on the tabletop. Does not bother me but you definitely can't get it symmetrical from all sides. Also be careful unpacking it. The glass top is loose and can easily be dropped.

cosy bistro-in-my-own-backyard! LOVE the way this table coordinates with chairs I already owned. Perfect height and heavy enough to be sturdy, yet easily movable with two people. The under shelf can hold extra supplies, small plants/flowers or flameless candles for mood! Amber tinted glass adds a richness. Although the table does have an umbrella hole, advise using an umbrella stand underneath, just to add more stability if the wind kicks up - something with a neck shorter than 12" or it won't fit under the lower shelf.

Perfect Outdoor Table for Deck Stylish, compact, and sturdy. Pair this with the Christopher Knight side chairs and the deck is ready for dinner. This is not my first Christopher Knight purchase. Everything I have purchased in this line has been sturdy and attractive. From my first purchase to the most recent buy, the chairs and tables have withstood the harsh year-long Texas sun. I have not covered nor stored any of the furniture, yet it continues to look like new. Because I have added over the course of three years, I expected some differences in color due to fading and weathering. I am happy to report that this is not a worry. Great price, great style, and great reliability.

I just put my table up last night and love it! The shelf under the table is 18 inches... I made the mistake of not taking the arms of the chairs into effect so my chairs (with arms) do not fit under the table but it is quite comfortable to sit and eat with the chair just touching the table. With that said, because of the shelf, you can't really pull chairs under too far anyway.... I'd say you'd have about 8 or 10 inches at most. Hope this info helps!

The bottom shelf is 18 inches wide and from the shelf to the ground is 13 1/2 inches. The chairs that I purchased for this table has arm rest and can fit 8 inches in.
