I LOVE this area rug! I ordered the 11x15 in Wheat/Beige. The color is beautiful and slightly darker than it appears online. But I like the darker beige color a LOT better. It arrived on time and was packaged well to withstand the elements if it has to sit outside all day until you get home. I spent days searching on as many websites as I could find, looking for a small repetitive diamond area rug that comes in large sizes, but it does not exist unless you have it custom cut and bound at a carpet company. This Safavieh Amherst Leota pattern was the closest I could find and it is very appealing without the pattern being too big and busy. By the way, I did find the exact diamond pattern I was originally looking for at a carpet store and asked them to provide a quote for a 16'x12' custom cut and bound area rug (see picture below). They wanted to charge me over $2,000 and it would not have incorporated the pretty border the Safavieh Amherst Leota rug has. I was hoping this Safavieh rug would have been a little more plush (its pile height is .25), but I purchased a nice carpet pad to put underneath (Mohawk Ultra Premium Rug Pad) and it enhances the look and feel a lot! I have two cats who love to knead on carpet, which was another concern I had. So far they have not been able to pull out any carpet fibers. For this reason alone I'd say the carpet’s structural integrity is quite strong, and it is certainly easy to clean. I’ve already had to clean up two spills that were left for a good part of the day, and they both came up easily using just a warm wet wash cloth or a Lysol Disinfecting Wipe. This is also the first area rug I've purchased that was "folded" instead of being "rolled" on a tube. I worried that the creases from being folded would be very difficult to get out, but I must say I've had deeper creases with area rugs that came rolled. I used my Hahn floor steamer with the rug adapter and went over each of the creases until they were steam damp. Then I placed a heavy wooden board on top to weigh down each crease and left it overnight. The board I used was long and heavy (2"x12"x12'). I repeated this procedure every day (steam a new crease and weigh down with heavy board), so it has taken me about a week to press out all the creases. So far, every crease has relaxed completely and it looks beautiful in my living room! The pros for the Safavieh Amherst Leota area rug are all of the above statements. I cannot think of any cons to mention at this time, although I’ve only had this rug for about two weeks. I’ll update this review if any come to mind. YES, I would definitely recommend this rug to others. Hope this helps!

Great for high traffic area.
I really like the Safavieh carpets, and this was my second purchase. I ordered it to coordinate with another "amherst dark grey/beige" area rug I bought for my family room. Unfortunately, the beige area is definitely darker on this rug than the other rug, which makes it look dirty in comparison. I then realized that the pattern is not the exact same as my larger rug. Frustrating, because I assumed "amherst" was one particular style. Oh, well. Quality of the rug is great, and able to stand up to our household of six people and three dogs.

This rug is excellent! I love that it is a thin pile so cleaning is a breeze and our Roomba is able to vaccuum over it with no problem. The color and pattern is subtle and classy and was a great addition to our living room. Streaks on the carpet are from the Roomba, not discoloration on the actual carpet.

This is probably my last order from Great Offer Stock. The colors of the items I receive don't match the pictures, and I realize that can be because of a computer screen. But I ordered this rug in the tan color, and it's very gray. Looks terrible with my tan walls. Too expensive to send back, so I'll probably just donate it. I also can't get it to lie flat - not talking about the edges, which flatten with weight on them, but the entire rug.
