Why did shag ever go 'out' of stye?
Whenever we look for a wonderful shag rug, and at a fantastic price, it is rare when we can't find the perfect fit or item from Great Offer Stock. The Safavieh Hudson Diamond Shag Ivory/ Grey Rug (8' x 10'), was no exception to this. As we have mentioned on prior reviews, this item was packed and delivered perfectly to us. (Hard to find yourself going out to shop when you have such exceptional service in this new world of online shopping). Upon opening and putting into a Master Bedroom, we love the color, plushness (full) and overall texture of the shag. It is very full and dense pile. If you have not done shag product, it will usually require a couple decent shake-outs or vac with a quality vacuum, but without the rollers on (...if it is optioned that way). The product is certainly trend-right, with the stunning gray-line inserts. The main, white color of rug is beautifully (and true) white, and we did not experience any excessive odor or 'listing' that you sometimes hear from people when getting products like this. We find these shag rugs are best in slightly lower traffic areas, as they tend to need a lot of re-fluffing (if you always want to look full and fluffy), but we have always told clients...these are not heirloom rugs either, so live and use them however you want, and in a few years you can always replace. And thanks for Great Offer Stock, the pricing always seems to be fantastic on these. Like Great Offer Stock, we always think a non-slip rug pad is ideal too, but this item is so large and heavy that you can tend to get away without using one either.

FANTASTIC Rug
I originally purchased this rug because I was looking for something to warm up my living room that I just had a dark hardwood floor out in. It looked nice and the price was great. It arrived days before they said it would. It was easy to unroll and get set up in my living room. This is one of the softest carpets you could ever imagine. I was reluctant to purchase a carpet online, but really glad that I purchased this one!

I would not recommend vacuuming this rug, the beater bar on the vacuum may break up the fibers in the rug.
