Love this rug, especially for the price. It does shed a lot. The contrast between the border and the center is not as great as shown in the picture, but is a pretty rug.

Attractive but still pills and sheds after 7 months.

Very happy with the colors in this rug. Definitely more muted then some of the photos show but perfect for my needs. As some mentioned it initially had a strong chemical smell but that dissipated in a few weeks.

I really like this rug but so do my cats. When you vacuum it your canister will be filled. The color is not at bright as in the picture, but it is a nice heavy rug.

I am very happy with this rug! It is beautiful and very well made. I did read the reviews before ordering it and I do find the colors to be more muted, but it is still very nice. I did find a chemical smell for a very short period of time, and I do not find this rug shedding at all. It is perfect for my family room and I could not be happier with the quality and price!

I read the reviews about this rug regarding the colors. I agree that the colors of the rug are not as pictured. The predominant background is a taupe/ khaki color. The border does have some yellow and gold tones. There are rust accents as well as light teal blue. I purchased a small runner first to determine if the colors would work for me, and they are perfect. I wanted a neutral rug with some design accents, and this is what I got. It looks better than the neutral rugs sold at more expensive stores that are monotones. i love this rug.

Get what you pay for with this

When we opened the rug we were disappointed that the light gold and cream rug we ordered appeared more like a grayish/dirty yellow-even when we put it under bright lights. Now we love it--for the price it's great and it's in a high traffic area so we don't have I worry about the light colors getting too messy.

I adore everything about this rug. It is thick and plush to walk on, and the colors are a combination of gold, cream dark brown red and blue. It is perfect in my dining room.

This rug was not to my liking in person. The patterns on it were very crudely done and there was a purplish haze on part of the rug which I wondered if it had "run". We returned it.

Colors go with all other furniture in living room and dining room. Very bright and alive without being busy. It makes the living room happy and alive as well as sophisticated.

it's okay. the color is disappointing...i don't see much ivory at all. the material is somewhat rough and not particularly soft. it "sheds" terribly. EVERY time it is vacuumed it loses a LOT of fibers. i also use a roomba on it every couple days and it cannot do the entire rug without the "dirt bin" having to be cleaned to remove debris from the trash bin, yet i can do the two 9x12; rugs in my living room and office and the roomba doesn't not fill up. i'm in hopes that it will end eventually. it is concerning to me that i am losing so much of the carpet fiber. i wouldn't buy it again.

This is a beautiful rug from a legendary manufacturer Safavieh. The colors are true to picture with a golden yellow frame and a beige center. It is accented with beautiful reds, blues and greys, to help you coordinate with other elements of your decor. It is very bright without being loud, it is traditional But not too predictable, and it is certainly of very high quality. Very little shedding, heavy cotton backing, generous size 9' X 12'. Perfect for our 8' X 12' sectional, anchors the living room very well. Highly recommend.
