This rug looks great in my French country kitchen. My walls are painted a paprika color so the gold, black and rust of this rug really pop. Very warm and expensive looking rug. Would look great with French country, Spanish, Victorian or traditional designed home.

You just never know what your going to get for color when you order a rug from Great Offer Stock but this time it was very close to what is pictured. The gold color is a bit more muted than pictured and I ordered 4 of these rugs in different sizes. The smaller rugs all matched exactly as far as color, however the bigger rug - the gold color was just a bit off in matching the smaller rugs. But with that said, it was such a small difference it was hard to notice. These rugs are plush and really comfortable under foot. I have them in my kitchen and the color works well as far as not showing up the normal stains that happen in that area. These rugs are a great deal and I would highly suggest to anyone.

  • Rich color - not as bright in person

I own two of these rugs - a small circular and also this 4 x 6... the colors are rich autumn/earth tones - not as bright as online... if you love autumn colors - in rich saturated hues - you will love this rug. The wool is thick and soft - very nice quality. Packaged well and arrived quickly.

  • very nice rug for the money

I got this rug for our foyer. It came rolled in the wrong direction so it took overnight for it to settle down and lay flat. Not that big of a problem though so I would not hesitate to recommend this rug to anyone. I would guess that this rug would cost much more in department stores and for $$$ through Great Offer Stock you cannot beat this price. The rug colors are more muted, but the black background is strong and nice. The pile height is perfect to allow clearance for my front door. It's not super thick but it is thick enough. I purchase the regular carpet pad at Lowe's that you would use under wall-to-wall carpet. It lasts much longer and gives a thickness to rugs that are not thick enough. Makes the rug look richer and feels great underfoot. I have more expensive wool rugs in my home and compared to them, this one stacks up well. So far everyone coming into my home stops and says what a beautiful rug. I agree, it is a beautiful rug. I may end up buying the larger size for our guest bedroom. We have all wood floors with the exception of slate in the front foyer. It picks up the gold tones in the slate nicely and coordinates with all of my other warm wood tones in the house. We have a timber frame home in the mountains so snow is an issue here. My other wool rug we had lasted 9 years taking all the abuse of winter weather here. We finally changed it out and hope this one lasts as long. It has the appearance of a much more expensive rug for sure. You will not be disappointed.

  • Very pleased.

I am really pleased with this rug, my fifth rug from Great Offer Stock. It's thick, dense, feels nice to the foot, and BARELY sheds at all in a high traffic area. Rugs of similar quality cost many times more in my area. I think the colors are pretty close to the photo (totally depends on your screen color calibration!), though maybe a little more muted in real life. It's hard to see in the photo, but there are two greens: olive and sage. They compliment nicely instead of clashing. The previous reviewer said the color was intense, but I don't agree. I think the colors are more calming and muted. The black background appears charcoal-almost-black, which I think keeps it from overpowering the other colors in the rug.

  • Intense warm accent color

The rug is very nice and thick. It looked great at night, but the intense warm color of the border was too much for me in the light of day. I should have known from the picture, it says gold but it's an orangy tan. You have to be ready for a very vibrant warm color if this is the rug for you.
