Safavieh Florida Shag Smoke/ Beige Damask Area Rug (5'3 x 7'6)

We really like this rug. So much that the 8x10 gets delivered today. It's so soft to the touch and the pattern is beautiful. It's not so long a shag that the strands lay down and show feet marks. If that kinda thing annoys you like it does me. Lol. The only true complaint is the odor. I hate VOC's and try to eliminate them from the home on behalf of the kids. The smell dissipates in about two to three days. The most dominate color is the grey, but you can see the beige as well. Since my walls are painted taupe it's a nice combination.

Love love love this rug . It is beautiful , soft to the touch and very easy on the feet . They gray is a bit darker in person but that suits us just fine . I would defiantly recommend this purchase . Worth every penny !

I LOVE this rug. I love it so much that I bought this one after I already had the 8x10. It's the perfect combo of gray with beige so the gray doesn't feel cold. The beige isn't so obvious that you need to decorate with beige at all. It just warms the gray up. I have noticed that the 5x7 is actually more plush than the 8x10. I have it under a kitchen table and you cannot see any food from the kiddos which is key for me!

I needed to replace an ivory shag rug with something a little more dog friendly. This rug is the perfect color and texture for hiding the wear and tear that was all too obvious on my lighter rug. I would say that the picture looks a lot softer and more modern than the actual rug. Also the pattern on the edges doesn't look very intentional--almost as if the fibers have worn away and exposed the edges. Overall, I think the rug is a good one and the price was excellent.
