Absolutely lovely rug. I fluffed it up by hand, which left me smelling pretty strongly of the off-gassing polypropylene, but a handwash (and a few days) seemed to help. The shag is fluffy and deep, does not feel scraggly or cheap, and is awfully satisfying underfoot. I'm back to order a second one in a different color within a month of receiving this one.

Just received this item. I was worried it would be cheap looking or the wrong color. It's beautiful. The color is a true Ivory with no yellow cast (some website photos showed for of a caramel color). It's quite heavy, so it will probably take 2 people to roll it out properly.

Carpet arrived quickly and it is lovely. Plush and a pretty cream color. It did not shed at all! We have had it for about 3 months and is still looking great after getting a lot of action from a kid and 3 dogs!

Overall, this rug is fine, though I have others that have a smoother texture. This one has a very dry, rougher feel but is thick enough with the rug pad beneath it. The color seems to have a very slight yellowish tinge to it that may not work for some people. It is buckling and not quite staying flat, but it will probably smooth out over time. However, there is an odor and I've been trying to air it out by keeping the windows open and spraying it with an odor eliminator. If it goes away, I think we'll be happy enough with this purchase.

Well, that depends on how well trained your pets are :) I have pets & we've managed quite well. The rug is an easy clean for fresh stains - just don't let the stains set too long. For vacuuming, I use the floor setting - the carpet setting doesn't work well on the shag. For a white rug, it is quite durable & easy to clean - I highly recommend.

I have cats and a German Shephard. Can't control where anyone throws up, but couldn't resist buying this. I wanted something fashionable, ivory like you see in all the home magazines. No one has thrown up yet, and i don't know what to do if they do. Guess I'll just use regular carpet cleaner on the spot. I have it in my den--not a main thoroughfare -- i don't think the rug would last in that type of constant use. Also, my expensive sweeper won't move on it bec it's the rug is so dense. Impractical, but beautiful.

I have three dogs (2 large, 1 small) and this rug has been in our main family room for 2 years. It's definitely not quite as white as it used to be, but it has stood up extremely well to the daily playing and sleeping that occurs with the three dogs (they hang out in that room all day while we're gone.) We've had wine and beer spills, dog accidents, and small children. With all of that, it's now time for us to replace it. But for the price, I'm glad to give the room a refresh every few years and plan to replace it with the same rug.

It's very soft. My 9 month old has played on it since birth. But I recommend going with the next darker color. We've been careful to keep shoes & food off of ours but there is a pretty big difference between exposed vs unexposed sections of the rug- and we've had ours less than a year. But I love the rug & just bought a new beige one!

This rug is more of a vanilla color. I got it for my bedroom that has white curtains and bed pillows and it made the rug look very vanilla. Did not work in my bedroom but went beautiful in my living room. Its thick and soft, great buy.
