So beautiful, and installation was a breeze! It would be hard for me to be much more pleased with this fixture. If anything, I would only be able to complain (slightly) about the protective styrofoam packaging the fixture was shipped in. Little bits of the foam blew all over the place as I was unpacking. But really, that's all the bad I can say. The fixture is gorgeous, and looks so much better in my hallway than the piece that was there originally. It gives off a very warm, yellow-tinged light, and it looks beautiful even when it's not on. I highly recommend this one. Installation is really easy as well. The tedious part is adjusting the height of the threaded center but you can do that with it off the ceiling, at a table for example.

I have an existing fixture there that is semi-flush so it hangs straight. Without knowing the diameter of the hole in the center of the glass there's no way of knowing whether this would work or not."

Thank you for contacting us aknorton. The bulb may be visible if this fixture is mounted on a vaulted ceiling. The glass cannot be used on another fixture as you want to use it because it does not have a center hole. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
