Bought this on sale in November, just assembled this month and it is not the true dimensions of a California King. Box springs will not fit the interior and the supporting slats do not touch the floor, they are about 1.5 inches off the ground. Horrible construction and incorrect dimensions, not compatible with a tempurpedic California king. Stay away from this bed.

Ok looks great when finished however the slats and legs are very cheap and flimsy The ledge inside is very high and we have a low profile mattress so the bed towered up high. We dropped the ledge inside way down so the mattress sits and inch or so into the frame. The end look is nice and I bought it for the look. Like most things from China you have to mess around with it a bit and improve it.looks expensive and does fit a cl King

I recently bought this bedframe for my CA king mattress and it fits just fine. I also attached it to the headboard I had bought last year and only had to buy 4 longer bolts in order to attach it. The instructions that came with the bed explain how to attach it. I have a very thick boxspring and mattress and it worked out just fine. Good luck!
