I really needed a brushed nickel chandelier however based off the other positive reviews and the fact that I really loved the chandelier, I took a chance on it anyway and I am really glad I did! There's not a lot of visible polished chrome and I love the silver string drum. We hung this over our bath tub and I had my hubby put a dimmer switch on it and it is stunningly beautiful at night. It casts amazing images on the wall and creates a very elegant/romantic mood. I am more than happy with my purchase and I feel the price was good for the light. I am amazed at how beautiful this chandelier turned out! I ordered this originally for my guest bedroom but when I started pulling the pieces out of the box, I changed my mind and decided that it would go in my room instead. The crystal balls are heavy and glass, so are the crystal strands and they capture the light so beautifully. So imagine my surprise when I realized that I was missing 6 (not 1 but 6) crystal balls and a few strands of crystals as well as one of two screws that is used to mount the Chandelier. I ended up arranging the crystal balls in a way that I would not need all of them (honestly using all of them may have been overkill) but regardless, I should get everything that is supposed to come with it. My electrician had extra supplied to hang the chandelier but when I discovered some missing crystals it was too late as it was already hung. I contacted the manufacture of the Chandelier and was contacted 2 weeks later saying to contact Great Offer Stock. However, I've just decided to write a review instead. Overall its a beautiful chandelier, however I took off 1 start due to the missing pieces.

the strands that wrap around the frame to become the shade are not white but silver/grey. In my box was 20 crystal balls, which is not enough to hang on every small strand of crystals, but was enough to complete the inside row and every other strand on the outside row. We hung this over a freestanding soaking tub in our master bath. LOVE!!!

At first I was disappointed because the shade is made of silver strands...for some reason I thought it was white but hanging it up, it does look whitish. Also I had to have it rewired and had to get a new chain because both were too short for a 10 foot ceiling (only 36 inches of chain). The base is a cheap chrome but it is not really visible inside the shade surrounded by crystals. The crystal strands are really nice. When it is on, the shade is quite see through and you see all the crystals...looks nice. I ended up just having those and one crystal ball because all the balls would be too fancy for my space. Overall happy because the price was so great.

It's is gorgeous! It's real crystal and absolutely stunning. It's heavy and it's well worth the price. Chandeliers of this quality are very expensive in lighting stores. This is elegant.
