This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a white cat sunbathing.Instantly recognizable, the brilliant, saturated colors of Pat Saunders-White;s animal paintings have established her as a national pet portrait artist. Pat brings an element of spontaneity, boldness and humor into a genre that is often stiff and photo realistic. Pat's big 'Ah-Ha.' moment was when she painted her first animal. Fourteen year later, she still finds this an exciting niche. The first animal paintings in this new style and technique gave her a feeling of 'coming home' after a long journey. Pat participates in juried national shows and presents workshops in her home studio and various workshop venues. She donates her work annually to non-profit fundraisers.
Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured on a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.

what an absolute delightful painting . . . just love it. pat has captured the essence of a relaxed cat looking out at the world. we know not what he is thinking. the painting reminds me of many of my cats, here and in cat heaven. i will enjoy it every day.

cute, but workmanship needs some help
The picture and subject are great, but the stretching was done really poorly. The corners all stick up, so on a side and front view it looks like something is wrong with the picture. The art coloring looks great in the room and it would be too expensive and too much of a hassle to return, so I'm keeping it. I will not order more stretch canvas art from Great Offer Stock again.

For cat lovers... this feline just feels right at home on my bedroom wall. He is a friendly face whenever I enter the room. Another Pat Saunders success! The picture came well put together, frame was secure and canvas stretched well. Packaging was good and protective. Very happy with my purchase! FYI: The image on this canvas is larger than it looks on line. The cat really pops out at you.
