    No they aren't , we have just recently put it together, but we haven't used it yet. I can say that it looks very nice, and it's a good size. But we couldn't seem to level it either. A little wobbly, but a good product.

    The 2 middle shelves are not adjustable but they can be removed. individually as needed. It is close to 12 inches between shelves. (10" for top shelf, 11" middle shelf and 12 ' bottom shelf. I do find it to be a sound structure.. Happy with it.
