The rug is soft and looks great, however the images on the site represent about 50% the actual darkness of the rug. This is a very dark rug and did not meet expectations based on images. 4 stars for the rug. Zero stars for the representation of the rug. Will need to be returned

Very nice rug!
I'm always hesitant about buying rugs on line because the color never seems to be right. Well this one is correct. It's got black, greige, and off white threads so it appears to be kind of gray from a far but really neutral. It looks great with our black front door, light hardwood floors and light greige walls. Very happy with the quality.

No, they can't be outdoors. We use them inside to protect carpets. They're great for that, but if they were left in the rain I'm sure they would be ruined.

I vacuumed mine, but I haven't had to deep clean it yet so I don't know how I'd go about that. I saw another message that said they had it steam cleaned. I did use 409 carpet cleaner for a spot clean when my dog peed on it & that worked just fine
