I have purchased two of these particular sheepskin pelts. They are both very high quality; dense, thick and plush. The backside of the pelts lay flat (the back feels like sueded leather.) Personally, I like the quality of wool that originates in New Zealand or Australia over that which comes from China. One of my Northland pelts covers a leather recliner which makes the chair much more comfortable. The other pelt is on the seat of the sofa for the same reason. I would recommend this product to anyone who is in the marketplace for a sheepskin pelt. And the pelts make a great, unique gift. Once you own a good quality sheepskin, most people will want another.

Great buy
I love this rug- great buy for the size. I've seen smaller for more expensive; and I REALLY did my research looking for this on other sites and in-stores.. It actually is bigger than I expected which I'm okay with. Very plush. I bought the white with black tips- it's just as described. Has a bit of dark gray/black smoky coloring in some areas but the tips are black- the white still comes through. Even though described as white/black the blend is soft mixture of the two colors and you don't think of it as two solid hard off setting colors; if that makes sense.

Hey yea idk what about it is handmade but I have another real sheepskin rug so I know this one is real too, you can tell. Might say handmade bc of a refinishing process or something? But this one is amazing I got the white with black tips and just ordered it in black might get one more too! I love mine so I recommend it!
