This two foot six inch by nine foot 6-inch rug pad from Mohawk Home is essential to keeping your rug attractive and to extend the life of your rug. Mohawk Home always recommends the use of a slip resistant rug pad under your rug. This area rug pad can be used on all-surfaces including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile. When placed under an area rug, the pad adds cushion, prevents slippage, bunching and wrinkles. It will not stain or discolor your floors. The pad can easily be cut with scissors to trim to size.Features:

Mohawk Home Premium Felted Rug Pad I use mostly wool area rugs in my house. These pads keep the rugs from slipping - and make the wool rugs feel luxurious when walked upon. This one I purchased to create two separate pads for smaller size rugs. The pads are fairly easy to cut or trim.

The 1 con would be thickness of pad may cause problem when used at entry doors due to thickness of pad; it can cause issues with door openening/closing smoothly.

Perfect Pads Purchased these pads for my Breakfast Room. I purchased some nylon rugs that were thin and adding these pads made them feel like a thick, comfortable rug! Make sure you use the right side for the wood floor and the right side for the rug and they will stay snug to the floor very well. I highly recommend these pads!
