When I bought my rug , the picture showed a ivory /blue version,that's what I got if it is the gray version the picture will show the gray version look the site if you hit on the gray version picture it brings up that color of rug so make sure your on the ivory/ blue version to get the right one they are beautiful rugs! I have gotten four different ones so far I love them!

The pile is approximately 1/2 inch thick, perfect for an area rug and placement of furniture on it. The colors are blue, gray, yellow, and ivory. There was more yellow than I expected but it makes a nice contrast within the color scheme.

I have the first rug also. The rug is gorgeous. A bit washed out which gives it that vintage look. The grey rug (from the pictures) is different and not as much cream color in it, and instead of the blues, it has the greys. I don't think it would be as pretty, but then again, I have off white sofas so what I bought goes perfect with my furniture. I adore this rug!

Not sure what you're asking. I have the blue/ivory and it's the first photo. It's pretty much true to color. I have never seen the grey one in person so I can tell you what the difference is.

It is not very heavy, maybe 10-12 pounds. It is polyester and not particularly thick or heavy piled.

This is a dense nylon (polypropolene) rug - heavy like wool, I cannot even guess accurately. Suggestion: roll up and secure with a cord; then weigh with a baggage weight. It might be 10 -12 pounds

In my experience, Susan, nope! The weave is very "tight" in feel because it has a very short pile. I have not seen shedding, and the border work keeps all the threads together on the edging. This does not look or feel like an Ikea-style rug which, in my experience, has shed. I have cats who are trained to claw at tightly woven, medium pile rugs (ikea-style) which shed with that type of use. They are not attracted to this carpet at all, except to roll all over it because they like the feel on their fur. That being said, the material used is typical "acrylic-type" rug, so baby may get rug burns if s/he is really belly-flopping on it! :) I bought a second, identical smaller size for the adjoining space, so I like it very much.

The rug does not shed. We love it. Definitely needs pad underneath to add to the thickness. Ours is gray, with pops of yellow and a brighter almost teal/cornflower blue mix. Looks fantastic. A great addition to our family room.
