Looked exactly like the picture in person.
I had one problem lining up the holes but was sucessful once I tightened everything down. I would recommend getting a hex rachhet. It will save you half the time of putting the furniture together. You want to tighten everything pretty tight, that's how the furniture becomes very sturdy. You will strip a few screws but no worries they send plenty of extra screws. The directions are straight forward. Nice piece of furniture overall. If you catch it on sale even better, still a little pricey. It's in the middle of the wicker furniture as a price point. I just received and put together my set so can't tell if it will last. Considering buying a second set for my other outdoor deck. Lastly, I would recommend bring ing in the pillows if your going to get rain and you know about it. Light colors always get dark when left outside in the elements.

Had this set 3+ years. Color has not faded much, although I do cover it when not in use. A very useful set for my front under cover patio.
