I wanted a statement piece for over our kitchen table, and this light fit that bill perfectly! It's got a vintage feel, but still blends with more modern pieces. I have been searching for a table light for almost 6 months now (you can say I'm a bit picky), and this was the winner by a mile.
Installation was tricky, but I read reviews on here first and saw that the bolts would need to be cut so the housing would sit flush against the ceiling. Once we did that, hanging it was pretty easy considering the complexity of the light. I definitely recommend leaving the plastic on the globes while assembling/hanging for protection.
Once we hung the light we saw that one of the globes was cracked at the bottom. It's not super noticeable unless you know it's there, but since it's brand new I wanted it to be perfect. I contacted Great Offer Stock and they happily are sending me a replacement. Thanks Overstock!
I ordered Edison bulbs for the light, and while I absolutely loved the look of the vintage filament bulbs, they appeared too amber for our decor. I was able to find "cooler" Edison bulbs on *** which will be arriving today. I can't wait to see what it looks like with the correct lighting color!
