This is an attractive, and very functional fan. I installed it, along with the wired remote control as the fan in my office. The CFM for this fan is excellent, and it looks great.
I found two problems with the fan.
1) The remote control has detent positions for 1 - 4 different fan speeds. The switch is mis-marked so position 1 ends up being the fastest speed, while 4 is the slowest.
2) After buying the fan, I tried to order the lighting kit, and I discovered that the lighting kit is available in a few different colors, but it is not available in Black, the color of the fan. So, I had to settle for a lighting kit that was brushed nickel, which looks good enough with a black fan. If this color mismatch bothers me, it will be a very simple proposition to remove the brushed nickel collar, and paint it black.
