Purchased a new desk to set up in my bedroom, and I needed a lamp to compliment the desk sleek style. Found it in this really stylish lamp that whould look great with any furnishing style. I can set it on any corner left or right side, or in the middle of my desk. It would look great in any of these positions. The lamps neck is also adjustable giving you good lighting spread weither you need direct lighting in one area, or accross the entirespace you are lighting. Great choice for me, and I really like the lamp a lot.
