Nice, basic lamp. The base is off-white with the shade slightly darker. It is a good height for next to a sofa. Wasn't crazy about the bronze looking base and finial (which is a slightly odd, oblong shape), although supposedly bronze/brass finishes are coming back. I kept it for its simplicity.
