HUGE! And (for me) not in a good way.
I wanted to love this so much, and I still love the concept of it, but this pendant is definitely made for taller ceilings. (yes I know the cords can be shortened, but that's not the issue here) My intention was to hang it over my dining table and have it look exactly like the picture. My dining room has a standard 8 foot ceiling. Measuring so the bottom globe was 28" from the table top (recommended height is 28-32"), and duplicating the spacing of the globes the top of the topmost globe was 7 INCHES from the ceiling! It just looked weird. I laid everything out on the floor and did the spacing that way so I could get a good visual. I didn't actually mount it in case I had to return it- which I did. Also note the mounting canopy at the top is 11"across. It doesn't look that big in the photo, but to put it into perspective that's about the size of a dinner plate. All that being said the piece is beautiful. The copper finish was pristine and the amount of seeding in the glass globes was consistent between the three, hence the 4 star rating. If I had a room with cathedral ceilings I'd definitely buy it again.
