Very happy with this table! The table is darker than what I thought it would be but I like it just as well. I needed a narrow table for my kitchen. It's longer than my previous table but it works since I don't have chairs on the ends - I'm able to have 3 stools per side. I put 3 coats of flat poly on it before we started using it to protect it from water stains (we don't use coasters on this table).

Great Table This table is a GREAT DEAL and looks amazing after it is put together. The top is extremely heavy so you will need a couple of strong men to carry it if you done have the delivery men do it.

It goes in bar height so we cut 6inches off the legs which is very easy to do with the X ends. This table is one of my most favorite pieces in my new kitchen

The barstools we have are 24.5", with back and arms and they work perfectly.

I have purchased two types, both were labeled counter height (normally 24"). We found that the swivel adjustable height works really well because they are adjustable for the more petite person. Most of the male guests prefer the 24" non adjustable.

The table is much darker than the picture on the website. It's more of a medium brown. Still beautiful...but not natural wood tones...hope this helps!

Yes, the table is a medium brown color. I put 5 coats of Matte poly on mine, and it made the stain a rich brown color, and slightly shiny. It still looks great.

There are support braces on both sides under the table. You may be able to cut a little bit but not quite 5" on each side.

We have round, metal,adjustable stools under our table and they only stick out slightly...see photo: Well I tried to attach and it would not let me. Stools stick out from table top about two inches, but this is only because they have stools on other side. Not using both sides...you should have plenty of space for stools to fit underneath table top.
