This item is poorly constructed and poorly finished. I would not recommend it.

Very nice and easy to assemble, my kid loves it, works great for a small bedroom with space saving room to spear also came with the book shelf that match which I had not originally ordered but came first so had to reorder the desk and decided to keep the book shelf once realizing it looked great and was just as space saving as needed and fit well in a small room and now the kids room looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! This desk is sturdy, and not overly big. Fit great with our guest bedroom furniture with trendy shelving for displaying decorative items if you are into that. Easy to put together.
