Finial and pole are DIFFERENT COLORS. We ordered two "Satin Nickel" rods, and the pole and finials are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLORS on both. See photo. I would say the rod is satin nickel, and the finials are like bright shiny silver. My fiancé installed them while I was out of town, and since they are already up we won't bother to return them. Especially since there would be extra work patching the holes in the wall, etc. But I would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

Almost perfect Nice rods and finials, arrived quickly, and easy to install. The only minor issue is that the finials are not the same color as the rods. The rods and supports are brushed nickel but the finials are more of a silver/blue. Probably not noticeable to most people.
