comedy of errors not so much a problem with set
Basically this is a quality control issue, lack of inspection on a possible return before sending out to a new customer and a large communication problem. Here is my story : I ordered product on june 24 and rec'd it june 28. The front legs of one chair which comes in several parts was broken. I called to have a replacement sent to company who indicated if it is less than 30 days i have to go through Great Offer Stock. I called Great Offer Stock and email for broken part was placed. I decided to put the other chairs together. When I finished unpacking the boxes there was no hardware whatsoever to put the chair parts together. I immediately called ovrstock back to ask for 2 full sets of hardware. Because of the holiday July 4th I could not get anything till July 5th. So no place for my company to sit for meals. The chair replacement leg arrived july 5th but only 8 hardware pieces ( 80 pieces of hardware are necessary to put these 4 chairs together). I called july 5 to get the remaining 72 pieces. July 7th I got an email from Great Offer Stock saying warehouse had already sent hardware was my issue resolved. July 7 I wrote back no and also called and spoke to another customer service rep. We went line by line on ordering the 72 remaining hardware ie L brackets - 16 etc. On July 10 I called back and spoke to another customer service rep who put in request to a different department to use the words - 2 complete sets of hardware needed to put together 4 chairs in the new request. Then, I called the company and explained I knew it was less than 30 days but I was pretty frustrated to the point of disputing the charge and all I wanted to do was make sure their warehouse knew i needed 2 complete sets of hardware to put 4 chairs together. They have noted their system but cant do anything till Great Offer Stock sends the request through the portal. The company stated Great Offer Stock sent wording of email wrong so warehouse was confused and overstocked stated they sent correct request and warehouse got it wrong. Therein lies the communication problem. Anyway as of July 10 Great Offer Stock is sending an email with request for 2 full and complete sets of hardware to put 4 chairs together through the portal and the company, after I explain this whole process noted their files for 2 full and complete sets of hardware. A separate concern for anyone buying this dining set appears that the side rails and slots are not consistent in size. I am frustrated at the time of writing this review. The customer service reps have all been pleasant and understanding, but, the process for correcting an error that should have been caught if a proper inspection of items had been done in the first place is very frustrating. By july 13th I will update review or dispute this purchases charge.

Nice Affordable Dining Set
This didn't seem too difficult to put together, but we did use a drill which may not be clear in the description. The set looks much more expensive than it was, the chairs are sturdy and I love the way they look. The table is a nice narrow size that fits well in my small dining room. I did accidentally scratch the table, so be aware that it does scratch somewhat easily. Overall a good set and a good value, would purchase again.

It was time to downgrade from 6 seats to 4 in my kitchen and this is perfect. Beautifully made. I was worried it would feel cheap and wobbley but it’s a very sterdy set. The walnut finish is nice and matte. The apolstry is also very nice. Perfect

The table top was delivered with an obvious dent in the middle. The front legs of the chairs split after the screw was put in. It is caused either by the design flaw or the wrong screw size (too big). Without knowing the actual reason, just returned the whole set. The customer service and return service are good. Both the return and refund were arranged properly.

Great set for a small area
I ordered this set which came in 4 boxes. The chairs and legs were delivered quickly. The table top didn't show up so I called customer service. They couldn't track the missing box but I was assured they would take care of me. Three days later the table top showed up. Customer service was professional in a difficult situation. The set was a little difficult to assemble but I think that is because it is quite sturdy. Overall, I am very pleased with the set and Great Offer Stock.
