Pops of Color I am very happy with this rug. I originally wanted a shag rug that I could sink my toes in when stepping out of bed on cold mornings, but this was a good alternative. It looks great against my hardwood floors with my contemporary espresso furniture. I have a large abstract (colorful) painting hanging over my bed and this is just the right complement. The size is great and I have enough room at the foot of my bed for a bench with rug to spare. No more cold toes on winter days! It was kind of awkward to bring in the house and upstairs because it's so long; but not too heavy, so I managed on my own.

Energizer Rug! The basement ceiling and walls were painted white. Therefore, the purpose of this rug was to energize the space with a huge pop in color. The rug is way brighter than pictured but that is normal. One of the other reviews stated the rug was very bright mix of color which in fact it is. There are lots of reds and yellows (i.e. warm colors).
