"Is there enough room on the sides to put a roll out trash can undeneath?"
I thought it was going to be too small for my newly renewed kitchen but it's the perfect size and depth. I never take the coolander out. I use it to drain the dishes :'D and despite that I still have space for dirty dishes. This sink will give you the look of a $1,000 sink for a fraction of the price. Comes beautifully packed. Only issue was that after a year the pipes under it broke and I had water leaking. I'm not sure if the pipes came with it. I believe so. If they did consider changing them they're not high quality pipes.

Great sink I had this sink installed in my new kitchen because I love the look of it. When my contractor saw it he commented on its high quality. The fitted colander and cutting board come in very handy. The only problem I have with it is that it seems to scratch relatively easily.

This depends on the size/width of your cabinet base. You need to know the measurements of you cabinet, the size of the roll out apparatus, the height of the trash can and then account for the size of the sink. The sink bowl below the counter measures 28 inches wide by 10 inches deep/high.

Yes sink is mounted directly to granite countertop. It 'overhangs' the sink very slightly, maybe 1/4" on left and right side. Fabricator took cutting board along with sink to make hole to be certain the overhang is not too much and ican fit (The cutting board sits on the top ridge.)
