Safavieh Gabrielle White Washed Rattan Wicker Trellis Headboard (Queen)
The Good: I love the style of the curve at the top, and the light, open look. My bed is at an angle in the corner of the room, with a tall (fake) bamboo plant behind the headboard -- this combination gives my room a relaxing, tropical vacation look. It is lightweight for a headboard -- this meant that though I am a woman in my 60's I could easily carry it into the house and set it up without help. Assembly was very easy -- the whole process, from unpacking to moving my bed back into position after attaching it, took less than half an hour.
The Not So Good: It's in the category of "you get what you pay for." As long as you don't look too closely, it is just fine. Close inspection reveals that the quality of the wicker/bamboo is really pretty cheaply made -- it would probably not be very durable. I'm keeping it because it has the look I want, and since it's a headboard, I don't anticipate heavy use. I also don't anticipate anyone else looking at it as closely as I did when it arrived, and if you're standing at the foot of the bed you don't notice the flaws.
All in all, it really does work well for me. I'd really like to give it 3 and a half stars -- I'll bump that up to 4 because for me, the good outweighs the not so good.
