Slip-covered King-size Brown Faux Leather Headboard
The headboard looks great in my room. I was a little worried because there weren't many reviews but it doesn't look cheap and it seems sturdy. The faux leather is attractive, not vinyl-looking. No parts were missing or damaged, no holes needed to be drilled. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and my husband said just this morning how much more he likes our bedroom now.
Assembly: It was very quick and easy to assemble. There are basically three wood panels (thicker than a door, not flimsy plywood sheets) that you attach together, then a padded fabric slipcover, then a second slipcover of the leather. The biggest challenge was moving king-size anything around in a bedroom. My husband put it together but I could have done it myself too. I think you need a second person to help hold it at times, but my 10-year-old son was able to do that.
I think the leather cover could be a little tighter but if it bothers me I know I could tighten it up by stapling the back of it to the wood. I also really like that I could make my own slipcover out of any fabric and change out the leather cover if I wanted a different look.
