Wrong piece in original order
Original delivery was quick but package did not contain correct items for assembly. Contacted furniture company to send correct piece which was then delivered incorrectly again. Waited over a week for correct item. Great Offer Stock customer service was great but not much could be done on their end. Customer service from furniture company was terrible. Would not purchase another item from this specific furniture company.

I bought this island to replace a bulky kitchen island with the same footprint. This is amazing and really brings together my kitchen. I LOVE that the top extends to double the serving surface. "I see that the measurements for this island are 49.75" Wide x 26.5" Deep x 36.5" High. Is that for the black base only or does that include the surface area of the counter when the leaf is lifted up?"

The measurements quoted do not include the top when it is open. With the countet up it goes to approx 36.5 in wide and 47.75 long. This was a great addition to my new kitchen with off-white cabinets with espresso knobs.

"I would like to install casters on this table, what is the surface area of the bottom feet of the island I have to work with in order to install casters? Do I need the kind of casters with the rectangular plate with 4 holes for the screws to attach the wheel to the island or do I need another kind of caster? I need this island to be mobile, so I need to install locking wheels to it. Thanks"

We do not suggest changing the look of the furniture. If the customer would like to put casters on this item and something happens, we are not liable. My suggestion would be purchase an island with casters already on them.

You might be able to use a thinner slab of granite rather than the normal thickness. Or if you could get a thick piece of plywood that's just a bit bigger than the unit but smaller than the granite to spread out the weight of the granite. Better yet, combine these two thoughts.
